First Presbyterian Church of Lapeer... Celebrating 175 Years

Lapeer's First Presbyterian Church was organized in 1833 as the Congregational Society and is the oldest church in the Presbytery of Lake Huron.

The church has many active groups, including Women's Association, Brown Bagger Men's Club, a quilting circle, youth groups, sports teams, adult and youth choirs and bell choirs, and Christian Education classes for all ages. To benefit the entire community, the church hosts a soup kitchen and participates in the community efforts to house the homeless.
